Insects on the Tweed

The haze is of millions of flying insects swarming upstream in Peebles last Saturday. The swarm was so thick in places that you could hardly make out details on the other bank. Click the image (then click 'all sizes') for a larger version.

Coming back

I had a blog years ago when they were called 'web logs' but gave it up in 2001. In the interim I've tended to use wiki's to organise my thoughts but decided to come back to a weblog so that I could post pictures online in a convenient manner. This blog is ostensibly for that purpose, but there'll probably be other stuff in amongst it.
